GASCA is built around what a young musician takes home afterwards: coaching from international artists, honest feedback, new friendships and a real stage in Tokyo.
Feedback on every performance
Every entrant, not only the winners, receives the jury's assessment of their playing. Preliminary results are returned within five working days of submission.
Cultural exchange
Young musicians from across Asia, Europe and the Americas meet in Tokyo, hear each other play, and share repertoire and traditions across languages.
A professional stage
The final is performed in a 400-seat professional concert hall in Shibuya, with a proper stage call, a live audience and an award ceremony.
